Label Policy
The following labels can be issued with our tweed orders:
1 x Garment Label per metre DW (80mm x 80mm)
4 x General Purpose labels per metre DW (60mm x 55mm)
4 x Large Accessory labels per metre DW (42mm x 45mm)
4 x Seam labels per metre DW (52mm x 30mm unfolded)
4 x Small Accessory labels per meter DW (30mm x 31mm)

If you do not specify which labels you would like, we will automatically issue 4 Large Accessory labels per metre.
If you require more labels or swing tags, these can be purchased directly from the Harris Tweed Authority with a proof of purchase over 5 metres.

We do aim to have your order dispatched within 2 days unless your order is for wool or knitwear or a special order. If your order is urgent please do let us know and we will do what we can to make sure it gets to you in time.

If your item is too small, too large, not suitable you may of course return it for an exchange or refund.

All our Harris Tweed is hand-woven by islanders in their homes in the Outer Hebrides and is made from pure virgin wool dyed and spun in the Outer Hebrides.

This is what entitles it to carry the famous Orb Mark certifying it as Harris Tweed.

What is Single width?

"Single width" Harris Tweed is the original width of the fabric which is approximately 75cm/30inches wide. Single width is half the width of the tweeds that we stock and while we do not stock single width, should you require any please get in touch with Donald John Mackay at djluskentyre@gmail.com
